They're all stated as 58cm frames, which is what a L TCR is, and what it should be compared to. And yes, if you look at the size guide of pretty much any bike manufacturer that has one, 186cm is in the crossover range for 56/58. Either size is perfectly reasonable for that height, depending on other factors.

Sure, but your opinion is based on thinking he's using a 90mm stem, which he clearly isn't.

My opinion is based on the overall proportions of the bike. Again, the frame is too long to be used with such a small stem

And again, the stem is at least one and probably two sizes longer than you think it is. Your conclusion is based on faulty data, therefore your conclusion is flawed.

stem is 100mm. (i asked for 110mm but it was not on stock and i didn´t want to wait. It´s the cheapest alloy giant. I will replace it in the future) And ISP cut is on mark 75mm. Marking is up to 100mm.

TTE is 580mm. My previous bike was L(56cm) with TTE 570mm and stem 120mm. Reach 80mm. Bar on this Giant is again temporary solution, i found it in my friend´s garage and it weights massive 410grams :-). I ordered PRO Vibe (reach 80mm), arriving end of this month.

Here's a thought.... If Brus is happy with his bike, and fit, who gives a flying toss what anyone else thinks?

PS nice saddle and tape mate!

That's the most important! As long as the owner is happy with the bike, nothing else matters! and the TCR is a hell of a bike!!!

Anyway, we can still have an opinion though

but I dont love the wheels. My issue is braking, with the stock pads they squeaked on braking and the stopping power was bad. I am using Swisstop yellows now, and this has slightly remedied the problem, but not by much.
Swiss stop yellow are not good pads compared to most others available. Squealing brakes is also likely a set up issue. Try Prince pads and dial them in properly and you should be much better off.
I have the same wheels and use SwissStop Black Prince pads. Massive improvement compared to the rubbish Giant pads.

i'm interested in getting the 2017 TCR advanced SL frameset. does it accept manual cable routing or is it only Di2 or eTap only?

also, i'm 173cm/ 5'7" tall and thinking to get a XS instead of S. i see the S frame have a TT of 535mm and it's like my Addict now, except i'm using a 80mm stem. so maybe the XS with 515mm TT would be better for me?

much appreciated.

2017 has holes for mechanical shifting (and it seems that 2018 is identical)

polka dot colour scheme could be nice. Pink is not for everyone :-)

I really have to see them in person, the computer animated shots on their website are just plain not good.
